The story of Lahijan tea:
Tea cultivation in Lahijan began in the early 20th century by Haj Mohammad Mirza, known as “Kashif-ul-Saltaneh,” who brought the tea plant to Iran from India. Given the ideal climate and suitable soil of Lahijan, the first Iranian tea plantations were established in this region. Today, Lahijan is a symbol of high-quality Iranian tea, and its plantations showcase the legacy of this rich history.
